Find a Store Locator for Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions

Sure, you've probably seen this before on websites that represent a business who has multiple locations. Yet, Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions needed something a bit more robust. The goals were as follows:

  1. The public view, for website visitors that wish to locate and get information about a store. Everything will be read-only except for the Request a Quote form, which they can fill out and submit.
     
  2. The store administrator view, for the folks responsible for keeping a store's info up-to-date. They will be able to change basic store info (address, hours, etc.) as well as manage info about the store's employees (names, photos, etc.). They will also be able to choose coupons that will be valid at their store.
     
  3. The corporate administrator view, for the head honchos: they can add or remove stores, change store info, designate store administrators, and add coupons for the store admins to choose from.

Key features of this seemingly simple solution include:

Public website visitors can:

  • Zipcode radius search + basic info display
  • Info display includes store info, employee info and photos, coupon offer
  • Request a Quote form that recognizes which store the website visitor is interested in and sends request to that store automatically

Store administrators can:

  • Log in to a secure interface for managing store information, employee info including photos, and scheduling coupon offers
  • Set recipient email address for Request a Quote form
     

Corporate administrators can:

  • Manage multiple store admininstrator accounts for access to the Store Manager interface
  • Manage coupons including begin date, end date, designate default coupon, enable/disable coupons
  • Add scheduled coupons

Other features:

  • A copy of all Request a Quote feedback is stored and available for review or resend
  • The Request a Quote form is protected against deletion
  • Coupons are automatically managed wtih image size and ratio constraints, and auto-resizing when needed
  • The Community module has been implemented into the Solution for managing store admin accounts by corporate

Hundreds of quote requests are being managed successfully, and the Corporate administrator is pleased with the ease of managing the Locator aspects.
